Ad Submission Guide

Please email a copy of ads to arcelia.pimentel@mediafinance.org. With each ad please include the following information:

Name of the Advertiser
Title of the Ad
Brief description of the ad
Contact name and phone number (in case we have a problem)
File transfer specifications:
Email all files to jamie.grande@mediafinance.org

Creative Standards

We retain the right to reject any ad on the basis of taste, deceptiveness, relevance to our TFM readership.

All print ready file submissions should be in four color (CMYK) and 300dpi.

File Formats accepted:
PDF, JPG, EPS

Fonts need to be embedded or converted to outlines in all file formats

Do not save files containing alpha channels
(i.e. extra channels for masks): images should be flattened and not contain any extra layers

Remove LZW compression on images

Clipping paths should be saved with a flatness of 5

Heavy coverage of black should be a rich black
Values: 40 Cyn; 20 Magenta; 20 Yellow; 100 Black

Full Page Trim Size: 8.5”w x 11”h

Bleed Size: .125” all around

Ad Sizes:

Full page w/bleed – 8.75”w x 11.25”h
Live Area: .375” from trim all around
(All full page ads with bleed require a Live Area)

Full page non bleed – 7.5”w x 10”h

2/3 page, vertical, non bleed – 4.5”w x 9”h

1/2 page, horizontal, non bleed – 7”w x 4.5”h

1/3 page, vertical, non bleed – 2.25”w x 9”h

1/3 page, square, non bleed – 4.5”w x 4.5”h
